dance in the darkness

form shapes of bodies3
we lighten the cave with fire to see
shadows with no things
layers backwards’ spectres
draperies and curtains4 are
what they cover
there are matters not only not “done”
but not even “thought of”5
tiny heads6 on phalanges and cybernetic nerves
what if we cut off
our antique DNA
